Community Guidelines
Last updated: May 2026
LivZio is a community built on trust. These guidelines exist to keep it honest, fair, and genuinely useful — for homeowners and vendors alike.
Be honest
Only share experiences you personally had. Don't exaggerate, fabricate, or omit facts that would change a reader's understanding of the project. Honest caution is as valuable as honest praise.
Be specific
The most useful reviews name specifics — actual delays, exact milestone amounts, real materials used or substituted. Vague impressions are less helpful than concrete facts.
Be fair
Vendors are people running businesses. Criticism should be about the work, communication, and contracts — not personal attacks. If something went right, say so even if other things didn't.
Protect privacy
Don't share personal information about vendor employees, site workers, or other homeowners without their consent. Don't publish private communications (WhatsApp screenshots, emails) without masking personal details.
No conflicts of interest
Don't review vendors you have a personal or financial relationship with. Don't write negative reviews of a competitor if you work in the industry. Don't incentivise others to write reviews on your behalf.
No harassment
Targeted harassment of vendors, moderators, or community members will result in immediate account suspension. Disagreements about a review's accuracy should go through our dispute process, not public attacks.
Consequences
Violations of these guidelines may result in review removal, account suspension, or permanent ban depending on severity. We take manipulation of the platform seriously and may report fraudulent activity to relevant authorities.
